ABOUT HEALING HARVEST
The purpose and mission of our program is to introduce therapeutic
horticulture into the community as a means of rehabilitation and
recovery for individuals who are victims of domestic violence,
abuse and trauma, at-risk youth, as well as individuals facing
mental and physical challenges. Our non-profit organization is
a resource center for social service agencies, medical facilities,
and community organizations (public and private) in Lane County.
We work with caseworkers, therapists, educators, or individuals
to promote, educate, facilitate, and implement horticultural therapy
within their agencies’ treatment program to improve the lives of their
clients through creative, innovative, and effective methods based on
the standards recognized by the American Horticultural Therapy Association.
